Shipping goods from the US to the UK

I started a topic about this some time ago when we were just starting to import goods. I now have a little (but not much) experience in importing. What I need to know is how to speed this process up, ideally we don't want to have to wait more than 5 working days from despatch to delivery. At the moment it seems to average around double that time, with a lot of the time being spent trying to get our shipment through customs. Anyone have any tips on the best way to speed this up? We are willing to try other couriers if anyone wants to sticky me.

Try UPS.

From our supplier in the USA to the UK takes 2/3 days plus 2 days if its over a weekend.

You can track the parcel online and see it sitting in customs to!

Ask your supplier to fill out all the customs paperwork and if you have a VAT number get them to quote it on everything.
