I'm trying to find out if there is a commercial available solution for what I need to achieve instead of our development team having to write it from scratch.
We are looking to add a new section to our site that will guide a customer through a series of questions (potentially a different number depending on the product category) and depending on the answers they give, will filter down a product selection.
For example when using this for notebooks it would ask about the use i.e. ultra portable, powerhouse etc. We'd need the tool to allow the set-up of the questions and then how each individual product scores against each question.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

you are absolutly right in asking for a commercial tool. I can tell you it is quite difficult to build an intelligent product selection tool from scratch. Especially if you want to ask multiple questions with multiple selections. I spend months on this topic. In my opinion wizadvisor would be the choice.
