A few quick questions

Hi all,

My first question is about a payment type merchant account. What type of software would anyone here recommend for using to take payment from a client? Oh, It would be on a month to month basis. Or, would Paypal be enough to work with?

New question! For the legalities of business on the internet, were would I go to, to find out about what I can and can't do on the internet concerning a business?

Q1 : Difficult to give specifics, I think. Different requirements, different packages. There ar eplenty of threads where people give general opinions, or opinions on specific products. Take a look, see what seems to fit.

Q2 : >> where would I go

A lawyer, and I'd do it face to face. The few occasions I've needed legal advice regarding Net related issues, I have a local guy who specialises in it that I go to.

And remember the law varies from country to country (and state to state is cases like the US), so good advice in one place may not carry over (Californias spam laws leap to my mind). Its a complex, and still largely undefined area of law (theres a couple of live threads at the moment on legal type issues)
