Theres no point reinventing the wheel.

Really you have two options as far as i can see, use OS or other ready built programmes or write the catalog and use an add on cart.

OS has a back office thats pretty functional and easy to understand.

I use OSCommerce, but paid a few geeks to deeply customize it. Having brought it to the present point where it's just to my specs, I love it to pieces, it's great.

The functionality is generally decent. Backend admin is generally strong. Most cool is the fact that it has a large open source community behind it, so it's always evolving and you're not customizing some awful corporation's proprietary software. Oh yeah, and did I mention it's fffrrrreeeeee?

We initially used MivaMerchant and it was a nightmare. Had to throw everything away when Miva went through some upgrades which made our customizations incompatible. My understanding is that this probably would not have happened if Miva's proprietary code had been more available/transparent as it is with OS (open source) Commerce.

The user interfaces (ie: the verbiage and graphics leading customers through your site) can be pretty lame in spots, so I rewrote much of that stuff. But all in all, I think very, very highly of OSC. Highly recommended.

a lot for all of you for the effort.
Well further question all of you are webmasters since i am not from this area that means i will have to pay some one to build it to me...

Further there is 3 things that i can not find it there:

I mean that if i have 2 suppliers india and uk and both of them drop ship me deferent merchandise how come i will ba able to let them see what they work like exchange or windows u know admin and user ...
the second is if i want to have the form to create new affiliate just by name user and pass how can i do this,3 and lest the order form have just few options and i need morenow there is >pending, processing, delivered<i need more arrived declined and thief (stollen credit card),were can i find it?
