One of my friends has problem with 2checkout.com. They have to pay him just about $600. It started three months ago. They told him "we have sent your money" but when he ask them for SWIFT confirmation they changed their mind and started to <bad word> him.

Stats show that 2checkout have paid already but they clearly confirm via tickets that they have not.

I can trust my friend because he asked me to help and I looked at inside his account. He gave me his password.

So the question is: Does anyone have the same problems with 2checkout.com? I mean especially someone outside the U.S.A.?

2CO seems to be a quite reputable company.
I am in Argentina and used them for a while without problems.

2checkout: Dear XXXX XXXXXXX, I apologize for the delay in responding to your request. Your account balance is 2.50 usd. The loest payment that will release is 10.00. Please contact us if we may further assist you.

Friend: I am asking about previous payment. I have not received it yet. Actually my bank tells me that you have never ever sent it. I asked you for S.W.I.F.T confirmation of previous order. Could you send it to me? By the way, trust me, my balance will not be increased before I get the earned money!

2checkout: I apologize for the misunderstanding. Your prior payments were not sent out due to the lack of banking details. I see that you have just updated them on 6/18/04. You are now in verifications and should be paid on the first in the amount of $546.65

Sounds like an admin 'stuff up' to me rather than any attempt at fraud - I just don't think that's so likely.

I have had that problem before. I have had numerous problems with 2CO. They are are attacked [webmasterworld.com] and hacked a lot. I would advise you to stay clear of them, because there are many better alternatives.

I had the same problem. Read all you can and make sure you follow every instruction regarding SWIFT to the 'T'.

My payments finally got through. 2checkout will send the money, but they aren't going to figure out the problem for you.

They can I know be a be tricky to get money out of, having told me that a cheque was on its way when it wasnt.

This didnt just happen once but on several occassions, finally received the cheque and an apology, so in turn I bought their ATM card to smooth things over.

Only after paying $75 for it it didnt work correctly as they hadnt registered it at their end. gave up and went else where.

Problem with 2checkout.com is that their service is so crude, you can't tell when they're doing something dodgy, or it's their buffonary!
