I switched to NetBanx for all transactions. It is always good to have a backup account you can switch to as soon as you find out - even if it is just PayPal.
(My lesson was learnt last time!)
They admitted they had a problem but couldn't tell me what it was.
They admintted it would be down for a while but couldn't tell me how long.
They said they would send a statement out but couldn't tell me when.
Worldpay make a fortune on commision and holding onto money for weeks. If this is how they treat customers then I for one will not be reccommending them to those who have an option to use someone else. All I want is a little honesty, I don't want to know the exact problem or exactly how long it will be down but an honest answer would be nice.
Last time they told me two hours. After about four, I called them. They said it would be up today. I was unable to use them for 5 days (not two days, in a previous post - different IP ranges were locked out for different length of time, I believe - so some may have been even longer).
So, they may not quote times due to the misleading statements from last November which may have led to complaints.

Not now they don't! Few payments going through means little money to them. Few payments going through means little in reserve for them. This is good thing for us - they are now getting little money - so you KNOW that they will be treating this as extremely urgent. That is good to know.
The holding money for weeks isn't actually as bad as it seems - I have had one company trying to get me to swap to them, they quote that they don't hold onto the money as long as WorldPay, they pay you within 5 days. Which is true. What they don't tell you (it's only in the small print) is that they take 5% of your turnover and hold onto that 5% for SIX MONTHS. At least WorldPay are honest and upfront about the delays.

All you need to do is forward the basket page to the above address (I use the Location:[address]\n\n header to build the URL and forward the page), changing the bits in square brackets to the relevant variables.
Then I put the code in the a file such as:
$usepaypal = 0; # change to 1 to use PP, otherwise 0
if($usepaypal == 1)
{
print "Location: [paypal......\n\n";...]
}
else
{
print "Location: [worldpay......\n\n";...]
}
The above is Perl.
