2Checkout Membership - Payments Always Pending - Help!

Hi,

I've setup a membership area using 2Checkout and the aMember membership script, but so far all the memberships except my own first one are "pending". I've contacted the script's support again and again, but it seems that the orders are not being processed by 2Checkout. Orders that aren't completed correctly also come up as "pending".

I simply don't know if:
- Users are just trying to get a free membership
- Users really want to pay but for some reason can't.
I did a live order myself - it worked. However I did a demo order (no real payment)- it didn't work right and this has never been completely solved which is unusual. I also did a test order with incorrect details - I got the "pending" message that all signups so far seem to have (except myself). What conclusions can you draw from this?

Maybe just all my memberships are dud, and many of my users don't speak English as their native language so that complicates things for them further. At the moment though I'm getting about 10 signups a day with 3000+ users a day for a decent information-based site, so what do you think - is it really possible they are all dud or shouldn't at least one or two be real buyers trying to make a purchase? It does seem unlikely that every single membership isn't real and I have a visitor conversion rate of 0% (- Or is it possible :) )

Memberships are live now and I can't be sure if I've got 0 conversions or if I could be doing very well. Any help or suggestions much appreciated!

Many thanks folks,

Jeremy Paton

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, I've changed my setup so that I just use a secure form and then process the cards by hand using credit-card processing software. Still no sales but I'll hang in for a while yet.

Cheers,
