I'm hoping someone can offer some advice please.

I have a site which will use mals e-commerce as a shopping basket, my questions are:

-How can the basket and subsequent pages be merged into my site (ie not appearing on a separate page).

-How can clients update the product pages as new products come in? Is this through the same mals admin area or is there a CMS that would integrate?

Many thanks for any advice given.
thankyou.

The cart and checkout are remotely hosted. You can't integrate them into your site, except by using the return links. But the actual cart and checkout will still be on Mels site.

Dig around on Mals site, there are a couple of 3rd party apps that will do product updates etc, or just hack the free tools supplied to generate the cart links.

There are third party utilities which will allow the cart to display inside one of your pages. The demo I saw was pretty kludgey though and I don't think I'd use it on a professional website.

There is at least one catalog system which integrates with that cart.

Mostly though, Mal's is for people with small hand-developed ecommerce websites that don't need a lot of advanced functionality.

For that particular purposes, it does a wonderful job.
