i just launched my site three days ago (and i know that this is a holiday weekend in the US, my market), so i'm sure my figures are way skewed, but how long should i wait before i can "guestimate" my average conversion rate?

right now i'm getting an average rate of .7% which kind of sucks, being that i'd need to reach 2x that much in order to pull in a decent profit. of course, my sales are jumping around so much (6 one day, 12 the next) that i have no idea what my real conversion rate is. it's ranging from 0% to 1.7% on certain PPC engines depending on the day.

also, if anyone wouldn't horribly mind looking at my site and letting me know if i have some glaring errors or really slow load times on dialup, i'd really appreciate that.

thanks

Give it a month, then work on three months six months and then a year.

Youll get a more precise average that way, you may also be able to figure in holiday times and the affect they have etc etc tec.
