Is anyone using Payloadz for downloading products? This is part of the PayPal stable and I wonder if anyone has any opinions or experience with it?

Hello,

I'm using this for a few products. I know they only allow the link for 2 days but didn't realize that they also deny downloads if a maximum is reached. Not sure of the exact number because my server got hit pretty bad when a customer tried to DL a file recently.

What is the difference between using PayLoadz and using just PayPal? If you used just PayPal directly for downloads you'd have to house the download files on your server correct?

There are an okay company, but their customer service is the pits. I would also be a little cautious with the security of credit cards, as I have read they are not as secure as PayPal.

BeeDeeDubbleU, PayLoadz is not part of the 'PayPal stable' - as you put it.

Sorry, I didn't look closely enough at their site. I was taken in by their logo and the use of the Paypal logos and assumed that they were part of Paypal.

Used payloadz some time past. Beware of bandwidth traps. they can slam you if you suddenly experience a surge in traffic/business.

Otherwise, pretty decent services.

We have notthing to do with Credit Cards. All monetary info is handled by PayPal.
