What is the name of the software that allows you to retrieve your incoming emails from a POP server, analyze the emails and extract specific information you want?

We've used egrabber for this, its specifically designed for the ACT contact manager, but you can also export into excel for csv's plus a number of other software packages.

We also recently discovered another program called Web Prospect. It reads the field names on your web form data and understands what to do with each field.
