Does anyone in this forum have a direct relationship with a Merchant Bank? as I would like to know if it is possible for me to Proccess Cards through my server and saving myself the 3rd Party Processing/Monthly Fees.
Or does anyone have any other ideas on how I can accept Credit/Debit Card payments at the lowest cost possible?
Thanks
Third party; they take a good size of the order, also set up fees depending on who they are.
Your own merchant account; It is not that hard to qualify for one and the start up fees/discount rates are highly negotiable.
Average tranaction amount and how many transactions you do can decide which system is best for you.
Some industries have a higher degree of difficulty in obtaining a merchant account.
check worldpay.com and netbanx.com. if you want more specific info about these just sticky mail me.
If you accept a fraudulent card, YOU pay for it with any goods or sevices you have sent/done and also you will not get the transaction fees back.
The internet is becoming a hard place for people to get a stolen CC number from, but it is an easy, faceless way to use a stolen card.
Be careful, very careful.
I'm in the process of choosing a credit card merchant service.
The two i'm looking into are ClickBank & 2Checkout.
Both are basically the same at $49 activation. Only ClickBank has a higher % rate at $1 + 7.7% but looks like the better of the two because they process debt cards as well as affiliate checks?
Has anyone had experiences with these two?
Another note for anna up on top.
For high tech advancements search for a product called the "eCashpad".
I've beening watching the developments on this device for the past year now and if the tech picks up with consumers it will basically be card present transations in the comform of your home with the merchant enjoying a low rate of about 1.7% I believe.
I think it's well needed.
