Mother's Day Traffic Down?

Is anyone else experiencing a decrease in traffic this Mother's Day? I thought for sure things would pick up at the end of last month. I also worked hard to get a decent search engine placement for some related key words. It seems that people aren't shopping online for Mother's Day gifts!

Well... For me, people seem to be responding more to photos of gift items than to banners. The Mother's day buying seems to be there, at least for me.

But it's my first one, so I can't speak for the way things were last year.

Things are looking up here - a slight increase in revenue and traffic. Adsense doing much better at the moment - but I dont think its enough to buy that new fishing boat I want.

That is a good point. One of my goals this year is to increase the number of photos I have on my website instead of just a graphic representation of my products.

I searched for "decrease in mother's day traffic?" and found a really interesting website that shows traffic trends for the Internet, growth, etc. Seems that the average time people spend viewing a web page is only 53 seconds!

My conversion seems to be doing fine except for the 5 May (yesterday). Probably just a hiccup?

Cinco de mayo - maybe everyone was out having a good time and left their computers turned off.

my holiday traffic has picked up as expected, although monday was indeed slow.

I am surprised by the reach of the AdSense content network. I can't imagine where all those impressions are.... kinda scary to think some people per per impression.

Sales is down second day in a row. Well there is not much at the site that is for mothers' day though.
