Setting a Cart-Wide Shipping Cost with PayPal through HTML

Or, how to create another Shipping Calculation profile for another website?

Hello PayPallers,

I'm currently working on my home-made shopping cart that goes to PayPal checkout.

How can I use HTML to set a Shipping & Handling cost that applies to the entire cart, instead of individual items?

I know you can set that up on Profile/Shipping Calculations. But the thing is I have another website that also uses PayPal. Is there any way to have seperate sets of Shipping Calculations profile for each site?

Thanks.

I know other carts allow/define this, It just may be a need to pour through the documentation. If it's not there, then perhaps you need a seperate account?

You can use the cart wide shipping option on one site, and the other site you can set it to override that variable with set shipping costs on each item.

You can't however do both a different cart wide shipping prices.

webwit's advice should work.

For one store, set the Shipping Calculation in your Profile to what you want. Make sure the box ix checked to enable over-riding those shipping charges.

Then, for you other store, set shipping in the Add to Cart buttons using the fields "shipping", "shipping2" and "cart_handling".

In many situations, you can come the closest to matching your shipping charges to your actual shipping costs by using the shipping, shipping2 and cart_handling fields alone.
