PayPal Instant Registration in the UK

Does anyone know when this will happen?

I apologise if this has already been covered but it is a few weeks since I visited this forum. Quite recently PayPal rolled out their instant registration in the USA. Does anyone know when this is scheduled to happen in the UK?

Edit: I should also have asked if anyone has any comments about how this is working in the USA.

I'm in Canada, and am awaiting this feature as well. I hope someone knows something.

As far as I can remember PayPalDave had suggested April 2004 as a possible date, but that has obviously come and gone.

I contacted PayPal about this and they say that it will be implemented in the UK but there is no set date and it may not be until next year. From this I suppose we can assume that it WILL not happen until next year.

Thank you PayPal! Now that I know that it will happen sometime in the next 19 months I can start planning - NOT!
