Does spamming Google with ebay listings still work?

Curious if this is still happening.

Doing some reading this morning about ebay, ebay affiliates, etc. and re-reading about the guy who was "spamming" google with ebay listings. Then over on an auction site I found a thread for reporting websites that "spam" google with auction listings.

So the question is, does this still work? Can you still make $ spamming Google with ebay listings? I thought ebay doesn't allow you to spider their listings like that.

And can you still get listed on Google this way or have some new filters kicked in to prevent this from working.

*JUST CURIOUS* from a technical standpoint, not because I want to "spam" Google with ebay listings.

TIA

Spamming with anything works until you get caught which is pretty quick. Doesn't really matter if it's ebay, Amazon or some other merchants that provide datafeeds.
