Keep on getting paypal down errors when I try to log onto Paypal.

Anyone having problems with the gateway or just the reporting center?

Yeah .. I get that message as well. I am wondering if anyone has noticed any issues with regards to load and checkout.

I have had the problem with 2checkout 'abandoning' customers (rather than the other way around..). I wonder if I now have to worry about paypal doing this as well.

My theory that 3rd party payment gateways are inherently more secure is slowly giving way to they are inherently less reliable.

I was getting the Paypal down the other day when I was trying to check out on a couple of sites. Maybe they are growing to fast.

2CO was having a lot of DDOS attacks, especially around Thanksgiving last year.

BTW, just tried it - and Paypal is allowing me to sign in.
