Is there any guide or paper on How to make money from the traffic coming to my Websiye?
What is the average amout of hits/day so I can advertise for any other company?
How can I get more information regarding this topic?

There are a number of companies who will pay you to place adverts on your site. But before they will be interested you need to be doing at least 250,000 page views per month.

They pay on both CPC (cost per click) and CPM (cost per 1000 impressions. Expect around 0.16 GBP per click and 0.56 per 1000 impressions.

If you want to run pop unders you can expect around 2 GBP per 1000 served.

Banners are fine in moderation, but I can't think of anyone I know that like seeing pop-ups and unders.

I'd have thought a much better way to make money from visitors/hits is to have some sort of subscription based service...
