My site uses OScommerce and I want to use AXS Visitor Tracking System with it, yet I'm not sure how well it will work together.

AXS Visitor Tracking System should work fine. You need to have perl installed.
I was looking at the AXS results (not the charts) and could not help noticing the similarity with the User Tracking Contribution in osCommerce.

Well what I want to achieve is a way to see the keywords surfers used on refering sites to find us.

The refering URL field of your sites server logs should provide this. There are many web analytics packages, free and commercial that will assemble these reports for you
I would suggest the Tracking and Logging [webmasterworld.com] forum as a good starting point

BTW sadcox66, I don't see the user tracking contribution on oscommerce's site. Is it literally called user tracking?

There is some value in knowing what the referral keyword, keywords, or keyword phrases used to find your site. At the same time, I think there is great value in knowing which of those keywords convert. I receive a lot of referral traffic on a specific keyword, but it rarely converts.

What do you mean by 'convert'?

Convert into sales. If you are using osCommerce, I am assuming you have tangible products for sale. What is important are the keywords buyers use to find and purchase your products with.

So has anyone specifically done this? (installed AXS on a site which is using OSCommerce)
