Are there companies who convert credit card payment method into a check (that
is, they can charge my card and then send a US-issued check to an address I specify).

Yes, the service is called Western Union. You can also use a service called BidPay which takes your credit card and sends a western union money order to the receipient. You can always use your Bill Pay service available with most checking accounts to draw from your checking.

I've been trying to find something like this as well.

I have an online dating service and I want to be able send monthly affiliate payments. Each month the payments to each affiliate will change depending on sales related to them. So the "auto pay" feature offered by most banks wouldn't be a solution (and I don't want to deal with lots of little checks each month manually).

Ideally, I'd like to interface with the check or disbursement company via some type of automated back-end. This back-end would provide the payee information and the amount to send to each affiliate every month.

I'm not concerned about any technical requirements they would have to interface with their back end (I'm a software engineer), I would be able to build the software needed to talk with their back-end system. I've already written my own recurring billing system which interfaces with Authorize.net through a secured SSL back-end. It has been working fine for the last 2 1/2 years, and has not placed one false charge since it went live.

So far, the only service that I know of which would be capable of this is Paypal (although they need to have a prepaired list submitted manually). My main concern with Paypal is that they keep changing the scope of their Acceptable Use Policy. And if they ever made a policy change which effected my business I would need an alternative disbursement method.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggstions I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Tim
