If memory serves me right it used to be the case that you needed a premium/business account to accept money paid to you with a credit card - and that those transactions were more expensive. You did not need to upgrade your account to premium/business if you were accepting money only from people paying with a debit card. For traders dealing in small value transactions where the credit card charge would gobble up the profit it made sense to use the "lower" type of Paypal account.
Now when this trader goes to Paypal and tries to accept money it says:
"The ability to accept credit or debit card funded payments is reserved for Premier and Business accounts"
Credit AND debit cards?! That means he can't accept payment made with a debit card unless he upgrades his account.
Am I seeing things... or has that part of Paypal changed? Are there any threads about this?
