Is anyone using a system other than AVS and CVV to process international Orders? If your not going to take international credit cards, is International Money Order the way to go?

I beleive you are concerned about international CC fraud. We have shipped to over 100 countires and really this is nowhere as scary as you may think. Our items are in high demand by fraudsters but our chargeback rate is 0.2%. Even that is covered by insurance.

True you may have to pay a certain amount of "schoolfees" but after a while you will be able to sniff our the vast majority of fraudulent orders.

For large orders, you should insist on 100% T/T or use an escrow service

Yes good advice, but do not ship to taiwan, indonesia, russia or any third world countries if you want to keep the chargebacks down.
We too ship worldwide with great success and rely on one thing - if there are no data matches leave it alone.

bekyed,

I live in Taiwan and most Taiwanese don't use their cards online - mainly due to lack of English. Also to do a chargeback in Taiwan requires you to first file a police report before the credit card company will accept your request. We are hardly third world as your computer or
half of it was probably made here. We have the tallest building in the world, the richest political party as well as some of the largest foreign reserves.

Fraudsters are mainly from:
Bosnia Bulgaria Croatia Egypt Indonesia Iran Iraq
Israel Romania Russia Pakistan Yugoslavia

I would think anybody with half a brain would know not to sell anything to Nigeria or anybody with an Nigerian sounding name no matter where they claim to live.

You saying you forgot to put Nigeria in the list? Or that you intentionally left it out?

I'll revise that to:

Fraudsters are everywhere. There are more attempted frauds from Nigerian and Indonesia, but you could get frauds from Taiwan or the UK, or anywhere else in the world.
