OS Commerce Hosting?

Hi all,

I've got several clients who are VERY interested in going down the OS Commerce path. From what I can tell, this is a great program, especially for free!

I'm looking for a reputable hosting company who can host and support OS Commerce installations for multiple clients. I'd like to have as much of the gateway/SSL/merchant account stuff taken off my hands as possible(turn-key), since I'm more of a front-end marketing type.

Basically, I do the front-end design, development and project management. I outsource the OS Commerce integration to a third party, then I need someone to help with hosting and the secure transactions.

Any recommendations regarding OS Commerce hosting companies is appreciated.

Thanks.

Eric

There are many choices... I am currently using two different companies to host for me, and both offer one-click install of OsCommerce and Agora shopping carts.

You want ot look for a host that is using the Fantastico version of Cpanel. I found both of mine that way. Just search for "Fantastico Cpanel Reseller" on google, and you will have many options for hosting companies.

There are several other scripts that auto-install too, like classifieds, auction, blog, etc.

I am paying less than $20 per month to host a dozen sites.

Hi ericwp3

I currenty have osCommerce installed with 1and1 hosting without a problem. 1 and 1 hosting provides a MySQL database, PHP, and SSL. I am a customer of 1 and 1, I'm not promoting them anymore than to say their environment is well suited for osCommerce and I am using it. Good luck!

I have used ipowerweb for 2 oscommerce sites, reasonable cost and ssl included, they do offer oscommerce as part of their hosting package however the last time I checked it was a older version, you can install the newer package of the oscommerce site.
