2Checkout - recent problems anyone?

I'm going to be registering with 2Checkout for a project I need up and running asap. I have heard there are many problems with 2Checkout, but has any 2Checkout client had problems with the service recently? If you have, can you please explain the details, including money lost etc.

I have heard their customer support is incredibly slow. Has anyone had recent problems with their customer service?

Also as a side note, if anyone knows of a service similar to 2Checkout (other than PayPal) that handles UK businesses with adult - themed content please let me know :)

Haven't had much correspondence with 2CO but when I have needed an answer it tends to come slowly. On the other hand, they have really sped up their servers and have not been subject to any DDOS attacks recently. Payment has been on time and smooth.
