I was getting ASP errors trying to load the pages and "please retry, the system is unavailable right now" when trying to process transactions.
I tried the authorize.net website from multiple computers, including through remote proxies. In addition, I use Mal's cart, so he was hitting authorize.net from who-knows-where.
When it finally did come back up, it was unstable for 5-10 minutes. It would let me log in, but as soon as I tried to look at unsettled transactions or use the virtual terminal, it would boot me offline.
At least Mal's saved the orders so I was able to contact people. I got one of the two orders that came in back. I got to kiss a $200 order goodbye because of their failure.
Ain't technology grand?
Same errors as before. Can't bring the website up. Mal's ecommerce cart unable to get through either.
Isn't Authorize.net supposed to be a major processor?
Error that I get when I try to login is:
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'
Object required: 'documentElement'
/merch/evalvars.asp, line 140
Which is the same as before.

So yeah.. never had a problem with Authorize.net downtime. Sure it's been down on occasion (though never for more than 5 minutes in my experience) but my clients can just sit on the order until they're back up.
