I have just opened a website that tailors to small to medium sized businesses that wish to have an affordable e-commerce solution. I have started a few PPC campaigns and this is helping. Does anyone have any other suggestions where and how I could promote my new solution ie. forums, optin email blasts etc?
All suggestions would be most welcome.
Thank you

How about and e-mail newsletter or even starting your own forum?

I have seen forums discussed before, and the best point made about these is that you should have alot of traffic before you put one up. An empty forum is worse than no forum at all.

If you have built and e-commerce solution then go and subscribe your solution to the directories/site which are technically related: www.hotscripts.com, www.aspin.com, and other sites like that (search on Google).
Do posts on technical forums, or on technical mailing lists...
Build also a newsletter...
These are my suggestions at a glance...

If your solution is in use currently you could get a link back from that shop, lots of webmasters crawl the net looking for ways to do things and might take a look at what you have to offer. Also, a link from a shop would count as a backlink and help you in the SE's.
