Need help re: credit card processors

This is urgent -- Innovative has blown us off and we need help quickly

Most of the websites I've built up until now have been informational (churches, etc.) or for small vendors who wish to use PayPal. Now I have a client who needs true credit card processing. He originally signed up with Innovative Merchant Solutions using their gateway (Innovative Gateway Solutions).

Innovative has been completely unresponsive regarding setup and gateway problems and now he's looking for another merchant account and gateway. He'd like to get that all from one company, like iBill, but we've seen too much negative press about iBill.

Does anybody have suggestions about which merchant accounts/gateways are easy to do business with?

Btw, he's selling access to restricted (but not adult) content, so a shopping cart is overkill in this situation.

When you say restricted content, do you mean restricted by age such as adult; or are you referring to the fact that the user must remit payment before they can access it?

The content is not adult content, we just want them to pay before they get to it.
