I am looking to do some customization of osCommerce, and integrating some of the already existing plug-ins that have been written.
It seems to me that it would be most cost-effective to hire someone who already knows osCommerce.
Anyone know a good way to go about finding a good developer already familiar with osCommerce?

You might have some success posting this in the Commercial Exchange forum as well

essex if someone is cheap and quick, doesn't that mean quality/support will probably be lacking? I try to be a realist.

I didn't know php before I got my oscommerce system and I managed to add many of the contributions with ease because they each include detailed instuctions on what to do. A handy program you will need when doing this work is "Beyon Compare" which is free and compares your source file to the new one and makes it easy to 'transfer' the changes into your own source files. I use it all the time.
