Best Software to Email my Customers?

Just wondering what other people are using to email their customers/prospects?

I've used BCentral's List Builder before because it was the cheapest online management software that I could find at the time. We were emailing our customers that opted in (about 10,000) once a month. The cost was $20 a month.

I have a side e-commerce business and I want to start emailing my customers, but was wondering if there is a better alternative. I have about 400-500 email addresses that I would be sending to.

Price is definitely a factor.
Any help/input would be helpful. Thanks

I hope this is the right forum to put this under. I didn't see a better one.

Actually I was just loking at List Builder (but I can't find the free trial link on the site).

Is there any reason why you want to get away from it?

I also took a look at constant contact which looked pretty good but is a bit more pricey.

We are using Group Mail Pro by Infarcta. It will get through hotmail and AOL addresses without any problems. I found some of the cheaper solutions will not get through at all.

No, List Builder is fine for the price. I think the layout and program is not the most user friendly, but is any Microsoft product? The first month or so I had signed up, there were major problems, (like I couldn't upload names, manage subscribers, etc.) but Microsoft seemed to work them out and for the last 8 months it's been fine. However, I wouldn't recommend it with high glowing praise.
I also looked at Constant Contact but it was quite a bit more pricey.

I was just looking for additional alternatives.
I use List Builder at my 'real job'. I was wondering if there was a better way to email a small group of people (400-500 names.) This is for my side business.

I don't really want to spend $20 a month when I'll only be emailing my customer 3-4 times a year. I wouldn't be using it every month.

I would recommend Constant Contact, but they would charge you a monthly fee based on the number of e-mails you need to send. The monthly fee is payable whether or not you send any e-mails.

Another vote for Group Mail. I use it for link request campaigns and it provides good results.
