eBay price history available somewhere?

looking for data going back a year plus

I'm looking for a site that has detailed eBay auction data since April of 2002 with these parameters for a specific type of item:

- ending price
- buyer and seller IDs
- start time
- stop time
- number of bids (nice but not necessary)

Does any site on the net have this data available for a price?

I doubt there is any site that does except for maybe ebay. Have you asked them?

Nope. Haven't asked eBay yet. Figured if they offered the data it would be known well among the web community. Might as well give it a shot...

Have a look at Andale and HammerTap.

Yeah, Andale and Hammertap is sort of what I'm looking for. But it looked like they just gave you recent data and that they wouldn't go back years to get all of the exact data you want.

actually, i just finished making a site for a person who is doing exactly what you are doing. the customer used Andale, and got data at least 3 years old. i suggest taking a look into it further.

My friend just called Andale on the phone and they said it is only possible to get the last 30 days worth of data (and it's not possible to get previous months' data). Any idea how your client got that data?

No dice again. They only go back 30 days. Also checked Whiz Analysis and they only go back 8 months and I need over a year back.
