Credit Card Processing

I have a website and would like to take credit card payments right on my site. I don't want something like paypal where the customer has to sign up, I want them to be able to use their credit cards with very little effort... can someone give me some direction on what company offers the best service and prices?(fees)

Sorry I can't give any actual advice (I think direct links to providersare against TOS here), however there are many companies offering merchant services for websites; and the best deal depends on several factors such as your country, turnover, risk factor etc.

Search for something like "website merchant credit card", and you'll find comparison sites as well as actual service providers.
