Snapnames Vs. Expirefish?

Does it make a difference if the current registrar is Net. Sol?

I signed up for expirefish because I didn't know about snapnames. I realized now that the domain is currently registered with Network Solutions and of course, Snapnames is a service offered by Network Solutions.

So does this mean I'm screwed now, because Network Solutions will release it and re-register it instantaneously!?!?! Had I known about snapnames I would have signed up for it, but now someone already is trying to get my domain!

What do you guys think, do I have a chance? Should I start crying now? :(

Thanks.

The best way to go about using these services is to use as many of them as you can if you really want the domain. Snap almost always beats expirefish to the name, not because of any relationship with a netsol name, just because they have more registrars working for them. If the snap is taken then you should think about other drop services (of which there a few).

Well I'm pretty desperate for this name, so I've registered with 3 other services, and I have tried to contact the owner (emailed) to let him know I will buy it off him rather than letting it expire. Better than letting the snapnames user get it ;)

It's a 4 letter .com, no hyphens or #'s. It's not a real word, it would be used as an abreviation for example, but it also happens to relate to something I directly need it for. Won't get into too many details ;)

I better win damn it! :)
