Multyple domains on same IP address?

How it would affect SE rating if I put multyple DN on same IP

If anyone knows how it affect my company's search engine ranking if we put our multiple domain names with different content on the same IP address. If anyone knows please reply ASAP.

Hi Cadenza39,

The concensus seems to be that for most sites this is fine. However, many will encourage you to spend the extra few dollars/year to get a unique ip if your livlihood depends upon the site.

You could also use the site search function at the top of the page and look for previous discussions about "vitual hosting" and "dedicated ip"
