A bad domain name and site

What should I do about this?

I recently acquired a domain name (I did not pay for it) but the domain name itself is wrong for what I'd like to use it for and when I checked the google pr the index page was not ranked and two other pages were PR0. My question is this: is this name even worth bothering with (it has a 10 month reserve) and if it is salvageable how might you suggest I use a domain name that has nothing to do with the contents of the page?

Domains that are not being used and have no content should not have a Google rating. I would only use the domain if you had a purpose for it. Why else have the domain?

but my main question is can i take a domain name that in no way references the site I would build there - example - in the domain name is the word medieval - I want to use it for something different. Can keywords and new content make this site work - sorry if u don't understand my meaning

coosblues, for the site you want to have, you'll be putting time and effort into it, so use a domain name that fits it, not one that's not a fit.

The domain name you acquired might have no PR because of no content and no links. Check FAST to see if there are links in the event it might have been penalized, in which case just ignore and forget it. If it's a name that appeals to you, isn't penalized and is related to any of your interests, you can develop a site to suit it instead of using it for whatever it is that's not suited.

thanks Marcia. The name didn't cost me a thing so nothing is lost. I'll just put it on sale at ebay - even if i get a buck out of it i'm ahead. Actually, for the right person it would make a good domain. Cheers

if the ULR still comes up in searchengines but its expired if you don't have a product that matches the keywords it comes up for its a waite of cash

i know people that run scripts all day long for domain names like that, in the end i see them lose money.
they have 100's of useless x-expired domains

exaple you sell "pc parts"
but the ULR you have comes up for keyword "pink full moon"

you have dead tratic
my friend forwarded all the dead trafic to a casino site even after 40000 click not even 1 signup

i see you sold it already ,dut i typed it by then
