Transferring Domain name from Netsol -> Godaddy
Netsol :
Because your intent to Change the Registrar of your domain name, xxxxxxxxx.com, to Go Daddy Software, Inc. was not confirmed, Network Solutions/Verisign has instructed the Registry not to change the Registrar.
But they don't let you confirm change anywhere?

It is very strange: usually they send an email asking the authorizathion to transfer the domain; you should have received it.
Last year I had to renew a dominion for one year with Netsol (before to transfer to Gandi) because the expiration day was less than 1 month.
I had that same problem with Network Solutions. I then went and did a domain name change with GoDaddy. Of course, Network Solutions denied it. Then I had the president of our company, the one with the domain name, write Network Solutions on the denial. "My name is >>>>> and I am president of >>>>>. I want my domain name transferred. Finally, they did it. Maybe this will work for you. They are horrible. And I am so glad to be away from them.
Good Luck

p.s. GoDaddy has a lawsuit against Netsol. You can file a complaint against Netsol if you want at: FTC Consumer Complaint Form

I always make the first step to transferring a domain a fax on headed note paper stating that i am the registered owner of a domain and I want to admin contact name changed to my own e-mail. Chase this up if it is not done right away. The fax heading must match the name on the whois or this can cause problems.
I have a theory that this is especially rife in Britain where in the past businesses were not web savvy. When I joined my company they had about 40 domains X £100pa that they could do nothing with. On top of this the hosting company basically would not let them go without paying £40 a pop. Thehosting company showed their stupidity by the fact they used a third party to register the domain names. I found this out and went straight to them. Because our company was the legal owner I was able to transfer them out that way. My word that created a stink. But it shows the stupidity that makes bigger traditional companies think they can pull the wool over peoples eyes by keeping the details of Domain Names secret.
The new mail has "information about your account" as the subject line and requires you to scroll to the second half of the text before making you aware that it's a transfer request.
The whole thing almost looks designed to appear like a junk mail from NetSol, which it clearly isn't.
Coincidence?
I had warned the person receiving this to be on the lookout for exactly this type of deviousness, thanks to a previous poster on this thread. Even so, the person wasn't sure that this was the message she had been waiting for, and forwarded it to me.
I transferred to GoDaddy last April. I regret that I didn't save the NetSol response back then, but I recall that at that time it was straightforward and not at all confusing.

too right they've enjoyed serving me when they can repeatedly refuse my transfer requests and sting me for $35 per domain. when i get the last one out, i'm going to tell them where to poke their services.
For one domain that I registered at NetSol, it ended up that when I needed to change the name servers, NetSol came back and said that they weren't the registrar. Perhaps that was the domain that I had parked for a couple of months. All I know is that I started out with NetSol to register it originally, and I had never heard of this other registrar. I think the "parking" function was outsourced automatically.
Of course, the e-mail templates at InterNic/NetSol were always confusing; I've had to figure out the system several times in the eight years since I got my first domain.
Last December it was time to renew a dot-org domain. I did this one by credit card at NetSol. But I was dismayed that the check boxes for the length of the new renewal started at two years. I wanted a one-year renewal. No box for one year! No boxee, no renewee!
By then it began to sink in that Verisign = Enron = WorldCon, and in April I transferred everything out of NetSol. Just in the nick of time, I'd say. But I still feel stupid for that $70 that NetSol got in December.
