Netsol whois updating realtime

For the past 3 weeks I have been monitoring network solutions whois database. It has been updating with a 12 hour lag time every 6 hours (It scares me to that I know this). Today it seems to be updating in real time. Is this new?

They seem to have also dropped a lot of info, and combined others.

I dont about the .coms but the .infos have been this way from the beginning. It's kinda nice and I hope they do all of them this way.

Well, the Registry was down for many hours after midnight for repairs and stuff. This could be one of the things they did.
