Alias Domain Names

Will they hurt my standing with the search engines?

I have some alias domain names that we have purchased. For example, www.convolutedtubing.com would be directed to our convoluted tubing product page. I haven't launched these domain names yet, but if I do, will the search engines penalize me for this? Would it be spamming? I have some very good positions and I would hate to jeopordize their ranking.

Thanks
Janine

I think you should be OK with normal pointing.

We have many domains pointing to web sites without any real problems.

Even so, it might just be tempting fate if you were to submit these pointing domains to the search engines:)
