Have I been napping? I do most of my domain registry through non-Verisign registrars, and when I popped by Verisign today it seemed that domain registrations had dropped to $29 from $35. Not that this creates a huge competitive advantage for Verisign...

It also says "Limited Time Only".

When you overcharge to begin with, it's easy to put the merchandise on sale.

Verisign? They have a reliable Whois. That's all I use them for.
