I want to block entire continents from visiting my site.

China, North Korea, South Korea, etc.

I've counted one legitimate hit from these continents in the last year. The rest have been rouge spiders, infected M$ servers, and God knows who else. It ain't worth the traffic. I propose we get a list of IP blocks to ban started. Any takers?

Count me out for China, I have a site that sells blacksmithing supplies for a company there. Anyang Forging Press Machinery would be upset. Nigeria on the other hand... :)

I think if you want to block all of Asia you want to block all APNIC IPs. There are 7 major APNIC IP blocks.

61.x.x.x
202.x.x.x
203.x.x.x
210.x.x.x
211.x.x.x
218.x.x.x
219.x.x.x

Hope that helps!

Thank you Lisa for your input. I don't want to go that far with the block, mainly just China. I wish it were that easy but those IP blocks also serve Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

Personally, I would love to see a map or database that listed countries along with the IP blocks serving them. Anybody know of a link?
