Strange Inheritance TV Series

I wonder when a domain name inheritance will make the series.

I have been watching a new TV series called Strange Inheritance where people inherit very unusual items from a bug collection worth millions, rare coins, salvage yards, 8 year old inheriting a wine vineyard....

I wonder when the show will feature someone who inherits domain names.

PLease Note: I realize the show is on Fox News but lets not make this thread about politics.

I saw the subtitle and thought it was going to be about "inheritance dot com".

A thing can only happen on TV if the writers know it exists. I don't think TV writers know that domain names are property which can be inherited.
:: insert boilerplate about truly staggering number of things that TV writers either don't know, or know incorrectly ::
Especially when you consider that the time it takes for something to go through probate may well take you past a domain's renewal period. So you'd only find yourself with an inherited domain if it was already big enough that your family lawyer-- or some designated employee-- handled renewals along the way.

Every time there's a discussion of "example.com" vs. "www.example.com" I have a mental picture of some bizarre inheritance situation where one son inherited the with-www and the other inherited the without-www and they end up being developed as entirely different sites.

I didn't see the subtitle and thought the TV show was about OOP.

All the more reason it would be on "Strange Inheritance"

I am sure there are a lot of domainers out there that have planned ahead and taught their heirs the value of domain names and left the names to them in their will.
