I do collect domain names. I wanted to get one 4 chars domain name. I like how one sounds.

I was in auction and it went quite fast ended up.

Do you think (4 char domains) is worth or i am mad to pay that much?

Hello apprich. Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

Only rarely, in exceptional "newsworthy" cases, do we allow members to post specific domain names. Please read the Charter before posting again. We don't allow domain appraisals as such threads will quickly overwhelm and "crap up" a domain name forum with people listing their junk domains for sale, appraisal, etc. There are other forums that allow for valutation opinions, such as NamePros.

It's not unuaual for 4 character domain names to sell in the 100s to 1000s of dollars. Generally all "consonant" domains - bcdfghjklmnpqrstvwxyz - have less value than consonant+vowel (aeiou and sometimes "y"). Each case is different. Sometimes value is personal. Sometimes value is attributed to repeating patterns - vcvc = vowel consonant.

I viewed the domain you posted before deleting it. It's possible it could sell in the $2K range. I wouldn't bid that much for it, not even close to that amount - but it's possible someone some day may want to buy it from someone winning the auction - if that's your plan. Also, it is a pronounceable domain so you might be able, with some effort and expense, to "brand it".
