[That thread is closed, so I needed to start new one]

Its almost a year after the official announcement by webwork, on spending 18,000 for a one-word .org domain name [webmasterworld.com].

_ _ _ _.org still shows same content as before. Was it a clever decision?

1 year!...I've several domains going back to the 90s and have still not found the time to do anything with...so many domains, so little time available to develop them, that's precisely why I've been selling or releasing many of them the last couple of years.

When I saw the subject header I thought we were getting an update, and went to the abcd.org site to check. I wish _I_ had eighteen thousand dollars to throw into the winds :(

Ahem . . cough . . cough.

I'll get to the business of responding once I chase down the dollars currently floating on the wind down Main Street . . which I'll do after completing today's project of upgrading 4 PCs, transferring 250,000 files amongst the machines, setting up new email accouts, setting up a new router and network . . .

Stay tuned. So much to do. Only a dozen or so productive hours a day to do it all. But, no excuses. Noooooo . . . :-/

You mean there's only 24 hours in a day? Somebody lied to me... I've been working 25 hours a day...

tangor . . I'm still laughing at ^that^. Ain't dat the truth.

LIA . . oh how we know. Day shift meets night shift. We can sleep when we're . . . expired.

P.S. Yeah! First box updated in effort to leave Win XP behind . . before I get bit in the behind. Argh. 3 boxes to go. Issues? What issues with upgrading PCs? I LOVE upgrading PCs . . .

. . somebody hand me a margarita . . extra large . .

How 'bout we leave out the juice, salt, triple sec and other effete frills, and just hand you the key ingredient in its original bottle?

IV drip is better. ;)
