hello everyone,

What are a few synonyms and similar words to the word "domainers"? I have heard of a few and know some differ from one another. domain squatters?

Also, does anyone know of any interesting article that explains the domain business? I want to get an idea on how to structure and write my post on the "domain business".

thanks,
DP

Domain speculators or investors or resellers maybe, or even flippers. There are probably more terms, these are some common ones.

Domain squatters are not the same. They usually try to find a domain name similar enough to well known sites to catch misspelled or mistyped type-ins. Usually not for reselling.

Speculation in actual trademarked terms has been called cyber squatting, but since laws safeguard trademarked terms and the domain is handed over to the trademark owner in most cases, it has lost its appeal.
