Domains in Thailand (.CO.TH .IN.TH) where to register?

Hi,

I've problem.. my company is growing up, and I trying to expand my activity for foreign markets. One of them is Thailand. I run my business online, so the best option for me will be register Thai domain name .co.th or .in.th, but I can't buy those type of domain because I don't fulfill the conditions required to purchase this domain by a foreigner.. Anyone can help me to get this domain?

In Thailand the .co.th domains require you to be a company, so you need to present a business license or a Thai trademark, and the name must match the company name or trademark. You can only get one domain per company.

Therefore I don't think you can simply use a proxy company like many registrars can for other countries' domain requirements for a local presence.

My friend had a similar problem. As He told me later, register this domain is quite difficult for someone who is from outside Thailand. He finally found a company where he can buy .co.th domain without major problems. I don't want to mislead you, because I don't remember the exact web address of their company, just google the phrase “thai domain websolutions”, and you'll find them.
