.Asia Names Up For Renewal

To keep or release?

It's that time of year when I have several trade keyword domain names up for renewal and this time I'm thinking of letting most of them go.

I'm never going to get round to doing anything with them and there are absolutely zero type-ins plus checking the values for "similar" names on Sedo etc I may as well let them die.

Is anyone else in this situation at the moment, what are you considering?

Firstly I know I'm not going to get around to developing them because, secondly and quite unbelievably, my entire trade market has changed, tyre kickers/punters have changed back into real buyers. This has noticeably happened since 2009/2010 and I put it down to many trade amateurs going out of business.

I tell you what really surprises me is that on all mycompanyname.gTLD/TLD sites I have identical contact information list as follows:

Asia - .asia
China - .cn
Europe - .eu
India - .in
USA - .com
UK - .co.uk

By far the two most popular contacts are through .asia and .eu, then .in, .cn, .com and lastly .co.uk and strangely it's amazing how many Chinese and Indian enquiries we get via .asia rather than through their "own" TLDs.

So, I'm going to post them on Sedo at a tempting price and see what happens.

The domain business is horrible in my opinion. I let go of 10 .tels, 10 .coms and plan to either sell or get rid of another 20 .coms

Im keeping my .asia cause it has over 300 visitors/day and I haven't updated it for over 3 years I'd say.
