Hi All
I've been contacted about a domain name that I own and that it violates UK trademark.
I've only been contacted by the owner so far on Facebook.
I've checked their trademark which is for 'the blue widgets academy'
My website is the blue-widgets-academy.co.uk which was registered prior to the trademark as are many others using the words 'blue widgets academy' in their domain.
I've tried asking the person how I'm actually braking trademark rules, If someone can please explain?
Plus: i don't know how the trademark was ever issued as I tried to trademark my offline business bla, bla driving school. They denied it on the ground of 'driving school' can be use for other terms or summit.
My point is their are many business who are a widgets academy, so can't understand how those words were allow a a trademark.
Any help please.
Wayne
