I registered a domain name through a hosting company...a free hosting company I should point out...they apparently farmed the registration out to a reseller who then registered it for me through an ICANN certified registrar.

That was 2 weeks ago.

There has been no information sent to me regarding the domain name, nor has there been any info input for any contact or name server info when I do a WhoIs on the domain name. My emails to the reseller and hosting company have gone unreturned, and the one response I got from the registrar said I had to deal with the reseller and they wouldn't get involved.

What more can I do but send more emails to the host, the reseller and the registrar...emails that may or may not be responded to??

If the domain name is indeed registered, I'd cut to the chase and send the free host (who you 'contracted with' for the domain name) an inquiry on your best attorney-friend's letterhead (that he/she signs - with their permission), with a very obvious CC to your state Attorney General and the ICANN registry.

All you want are some simple answers like what happened to the name and why you are not listed as the registrant, etc. If this is beyond their realm of communication skills, it looks like your free host may need some incentive to respond.

You need to <a-hem> clarify your situation with them.

Some people just don't respond to civility.
