only two month old and pr is 6

how can two month old domain has pagerank

hi,I have been running a small mobile site on a free host for one year which gets good traffic,three months back i got my self a new domain and directed it two my site.Recently i got surprise of my life when i checked its pr which turns out to be 6.I cross checked it many times and on many different sites but same result.I am at loss to understand how it got such a high pr in such a short time and that too without any seo from my end.Any comments?

sometimes you need to clear your cache and history and then check again in a day or so. sometimes the PR Rank doesnt update correctly.

how much traffic you think a pr6 domain should get?@beedee..I have checked pr at different dates and even from different i even asked my friends to check and all time we get same result so there is on question of clearing cashe@dailypress

There was a time were you could redirect any domain without page rank, to a domain with page rank and get page rank to transfer to the redirecting domain.

Before redirect
Site A = pr0
Site B = pr5

Site A is 301 redirected to Site B for several months. Redirect is then removed, then . . . .
Site A = pr5

This is false toolbar page rank that carries no real value in terms of traffic.

What you described could be the reverse sort of.

As i said i bought it three months ago and immediatly set it to my site.I never forwarded it to any other site I even didnt know anything about pageranks untill i one day accidently discovered about it

It may have some existing links when you registered it.
