From [google.com ] Adsense help:

The simplest way to assign your domains to AdSense for domains is to delegate your domains' nameserver to Google's DNS nameserver, which we've described below. Alternatively, you can update your domainís A records and CNAME, though this is more complicated.

Delegating your nameservers is a single step with most domain registrars. All you need to do is change you domain's nameserver to be all four of these values:

* ns1.googleghs.com
* ns2.googleghs.com
* ns3.googleghs.com
* ns4.googleghs.com

As soon as the records validate, usually within 24 hours, we'll start serving ads to traffic that comes to your site.

I haven't "played with" :P Adsense for domains due to the negative buzz about the setup being a PITA . . but now that it appears Google is "making things simpler" . . maybe it's time for a test.

Anyone have any success with Adsense for domains?

Anyone try the new DNS set up? What can you tell us?

Geez . . . I wonder what happens to the domain parking companies . . now that Google has simplified domain pointing? I mean, now making the change . . and cutting out the middleman . . is as simple as a DNS change.

Google has recently been "playing with" (Dang! There's that phrase again!) the parking system code, reportedly in an effort to reduce click fraud issues. I wonder if the recent "updates"(?) were meant to go hand-in-hand with Google's new "park your domains with us" offering?

Hello @Webwork,
Creative idea!but
By changing the DNS to G, will not show the site & its content. How the ads will be displayed & clicked? I tested by changing the DNS to G if any traffic improvement is observed. Nothing! Any way I will test with one of my domains & let you know if postitive results.

Petro, to my understanding Adsense for domains is intended to ONLY harvest/collect/give credit for "direct navigation = type-in traffic", not traffic from existing inbound links, listings in the SERPs or any other source of inbound traffic.

will not show the site & its content.

That is not what it is for, as Webwork wrote it is purely for type-in domain names i.e. people who enter in the URL example.com

@Webwork & @HuskyPup:
Thanks for clearing my misconception. But only with type ins and without valuable content is there any chance of good income from AS?
Mark Frind or others made good income only from contents interested to users. With type in name better income will come from parking. Would it add any efforts? Please advise what I should do with a few domains that get type ins. Do you suggest not developing it? Only mere DNS to Google as mentioned by Webwork will bring me income?

Why not buy a ready-made template website for USD 20.00, there are some very good ones around for that price which validate perfectly, and develop the site around the name, it wouldn't take all that long?

1. Not a penny.

2. Tried the old set up and I can confirm it was indeed a PITA.

I wouldn't pay $20 for a template, but I came to the same conclusion about it being easier to just make a page and use regular old Adsense.
