Can some one point me in the right direction and safest route to selling some domain names?

The answer to your question is a) everywhere you can post domains for sale for free (not here); and, b) by contacting likely (targeted) endusers, contacting them withnout violating Can-Spam type laws and "Do Not Call" type laws.

The perpetual truth about domains is that the really good ones sell themselves, the very well chosen but marginally good ones may benefit from a promotional push, but the vast majority of speculatively registered domains will never sell in the aftermarket.
